The Vattenfall Asset Optimization & Trading Division (AOT) has a dedicated IT team organized within the business. In this way short lines and good business knowledge is guaranteed in our team. Together with our internal and external service providers for technical services you are responsible for the full scope of the IT services to your colleagues in business.

As Application analyst you will:

• find IT solutions for business changes
• design, develop and maintain crucial IT systems to
• facilitate the trading & risk processes
• optimize the value of our plants
• integrate different systems
• coordinate the total IT process from Design to Operations
• be the knowledge expert for a set of trading and risk management applications.
• participate in projects for developing new functionality

Requirements:

This is not a common vacancy. Being responsible for the full scope of IT for such a specific and interesting business requires the best people! You are one of them if you are an excellent communicator and able to translate demands to solutions and can oversee the total IT scope. We are not looking for a project manager or an architect though; you do need to get your hands dirty sometimes! Do you feel comfortable doing all this? A Master or BC level and some years of IT experience in a similar challenging environment is what we ask for.

In addidation you have technical skills in .NET, PL/SQL (Oracle) and data management of time series.

We are present in the locations Hamburg, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
